Open For Business

I thought I should at least throw something up here, I don’t have anything all that profound to talk about with this post. Welcome to the new site. Like I said, I plan on making this experience a little bit slower — as far as post out-put — but I’m still here. It was just time to make the shift to a new blog format and shape; having said that, I will certainly still be posting, at points, on things directly related to Evangelical Calvinism. One thing I really look forward to getting into further is developing what Vicariousness looks like in particular. Without a doubt, Thomas Torrance will have a prominent place here; but not exclusively. Vicariousness is something that stretches back, of course to Biblical Studies, Patristic Theology, Medieval Theology, Reformation Theology, and then Modern Theology. So posts here will cover that whole gamut; beyond that, I will be posting on whatever I feel like posting on (in re. to theological issues) at that moment (like I think I want to post on an issue that deals with eschatology and Egypt, soon . . . e.g. I want to talk about how geo-political things like this are often interpreted in utilitarian ways within or from the Dispensational heremeneutic — and how that is clearly problematic relative to how Christians should really be interepreting and thinking about the problems going on in Egypt and that region). Anyway, we’ll see . . .
